COURSE DESCRIPTION
Trainings Canada Centre of Excellence’s Fundamentals of Business Analysis course provides you with the foundational knowledge of the Business Analyst Role, Competencies and Perspectives. The course prepares with the new Business Analysis Core Concept Model and 6 Knowledge Areas of Business Analysis, based on BABOK Guide V3 essential to clear the ECBA / CCBA / CBAP Certification examination based on latest BABOK Guide V3.
Trainings Canada Centre of Excellence conducts a 3 Hours proctored examination with a passing score of 75% above for the participants to obtain the 35 PDUs or CDUs required to apply for ECBA / CCBA / CBAP Certification examination
Once the participant has cleared this examination, they become eligible to apply for ECBA / CCBA / CBAP Certification examination depending on the following criteria:
Requirements for ECBA exam:
- No previous Business Analysis work experience required
- 21 hours of professional development in the last 4 years
- Agreement with the ECBA™ Code of Conduct.
Requirements for CCBA exam:
- Requires a minimum of 3,750 hours of work experience in the last 7 years
- Of this: a minimum of 900 hours in each of 2 of the 6 BABOK® Guide Version 3Knowledge Areas or a minimum of 500 hours in each of 4 of the 6 BABOK® Guide Version 3 Knowledge Areas
- Minimum of 21 hours of Professional Development in the last 4 years
- Two references from a career manager, client or Certified Business Analysis Professional™(CBAP®) recipient
- Agreement with the CCBA® Code of Conduct
Requirements for CBAP exam:
- Requires a minimum of 7,500 hours of work experience in the last 10 years
- Of this: a minimum of 900 hours in each of 4 of the 6 BABOK® Guide Version 3Knowledge Areas
- Minimum of 35 hours of professional development in the last 4 years
- Two references from a career manager, client or Certified Business Analysis Professional™(CBAP®) recipient
- Agreement with the CBAP® Code of Conduct
